What Happens During a FreshLook Lift?
During a FreshLook Lift procedure, the patient is under twilight sedation rather than general anesthesia, which results in a shorter recovery. After Dr. Davies makes the incisions, she tightens and removes excess skin to enhance the contours of the jawline, with moderate improvement in lax neck skin. The surgery typically takes about two hours before Dr. Davies closes the incisions.
What Is the Recovery Like After a FreshLook Lift?
Most patients feel well enough to return to work and light activities within about a week, depending on the nature of their job. Around one to two weeks after surgery, your bandages will be removed and replaced with a supportive surgical bra, which helps minimize swelling and supports your results as you heal. While you’ll see early improvements quickly, final results take shape gradually over several weeks as swelling subsides and the implants settle into position.
